Tomorrow night is the night! Wednesday, July 24th, 2013, at 7:00pm, we Portsmouth Enthusiasts will be gathering upstairs at the Gaslight to talk about Portsmouth—coincidentally my very favorite subject!
I’ve released two of my slides into the interwebosphere—here they are:
Come and see my full 20-slide presentation tomorrow night! Doors open at 7pm, presentations start at 7:30pm. There will be three presenters, a beer break, then four more presenters (of which I am last).
For those unfamiliar with the format, PechaKucha (Japanese for… something to do with chatter) is a format of 20 slides, each on an automated 20-second interval (6 minutes and 40 seconds total). So presentations are either very rehearsed and well-practiced, or HILARITY ENSUES! The audience wins either way! (How do you pronounce PechaKucha? Here’s a handy video to explain: Pronouncing PechaKucha)
I hope you’ll come out and see, and me, talk about OUR Downtown, and then we can all talk about YOUR Downtown… a veritable idea Share-Fest!
See you there!
