Taco Tuesday is a popular weekly special at all sorts of places, and Dos Amigos usually has a steady lunchtime (and dinnertime, I imagine) line for their $2 weekly deal.
But did you know the secret to ordering tacos at Dos? Ask for them “old school style” and you can get them wrapped into what looks like mini-burritos, as pictured above. Why is old school style better than standard folded wheat, white or corn tortillas? Simple—they’re WAY easier to eat, far less messy than a folded soft shell, which can end up being a race against gravity.
I recommend trying the sweet potato taco if you haven’t yet. They’re excellent, and ’tis the season for root vegetables!
