* 6:30 – 7:30pm: Small Town, Big Oil @ Portsmouth Athenaeum — Author David W. Moore speaks on his book “Small Town, Big Oil: The Untold Story of the Women Who Took on the Richest Man in the World — and Won.” The book is a narrative nonfiction account of the women who led the citizens of Durham, NH, in the 1970s, to out-organize and out-maneuver the establishment and protect their community from billionaire Aristotle Onassis and big oil. Two of the women featured in the book will also be on hand at this event.

* 8pm: Godspell @ 3S Artspace — Featuring a cast of 40 teenagers, from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine, Patrick Dorow Productions’ “GODSPELL,” at 3S Artspace, will capture the true meaning of human courage and dignity. The timeless musical, written by 3-time grammy award winner Stephen Schwartz, will be revamped and seen through a new set of teenage eyes.
* 8pm: Joyce Anderson’s Revival Show @ NH Theatre Project at West End Studio Theatre — Three nights only, “a common-grounding, freedom-sounding, joy-abounding musical extravaganza to celebrate Mother’s Day!”

* 10am – 2pm: 9th Annual Clothing Swap @ Portsmouth Library
* 10am: 27th Annual Kitchen Tour @ Little Harbor neighborhood (put on by The Music Hall) — It’s hard to believe that for 27 years, people have been lining up to see other people’s kitchens, but there you have it — the perennial kitchen tour where historic-Portsmouth-meets-HGTV! I guess it’s also pretty cool that architects and designers are also on site at some of the recently renovated spots. Hooray local artisans!
* 7 & 9:30pm: Brian Regan @ The Music Hall — Standup comedy on a Saturday nite!
* 8pm (free swing dance lesson at 7:30) : Soggy Po Boys @ The Dance Hall — Wear comfy shoes ‘cuz you’ll probably want to dance — and if you wanna know how, come early for the swing dance lesson!
