Mary Poppins starts tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10th, and runs through Sunday at The Music Hall (there is flying in this show, as one intrepid Herald reporter found out firsthand)! Catapult’s Holiday Party is also tomorrow from 6-9pm at The Gas Light. Not only can you watch The Never Ending Story at the Rep tomorrow night at 7:30pm, you can also meet the Childlike Empress (Tani Stonach)! There’s a long lineup of amazing-sounding PMAC holiday concerts this week. All week long you can get out of those pesky library fines by donating food to those in need—talk about a win-win! Wizard of Oz at the Rep is currently playing, and is running through Dec 28. A Christmas Carol at the Players Ring is running now through December 23rd (this is the holiday play to see—I saw this two years ago and LOVED it, and it’s got much of the same cast). The STAR Theatre in Kittery is presenting Home for the Holidays next weekend, so mark your calendars! Also next week and in Kittery is this RAD-looking documentary about the Shipyard’s Naval prison. And if you like photo booths, cheap beer and discounted shopping, check out the first Cabin Fever Pop-Up Party at Book & Bar this Saturday from 6-9pm.
