The 7th Annual Markathon kicks off this coming Monday at noon! I was lucky enough to meet and talk with Mark Curdo at NHFF, where he told me about this amazing fundraiser event. Make a donation of any amount to the Center for Grieving Children, and Mark will play ANY song—and he means any! This also makes for a really fun mix of music for 5 straight days, so be sure to tune in as well. This is a great example of someone doing they love in a creative way to benefit their community. Make sure you participate and join in helping this great cause! Read more about the event on WCYY’s website.
More upcoming events: Don’t have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving? Go to the Portsmouth Rotary Thanksgiving at 11:15am at the St. Nicholas Greek Church next the High School—it’s free and open to all! You can even have your Thanksgiving Dinner delivered by contacting at 531-1764 or rotarythanksgiving@gmail.com. Free yoga all day Saturday at Bikram (thanks for the tip, Chuck!). If Thanksgiving is a thing you happen to celebrate with lots of food on Thursday, some nice hot yoga will be good for you on Saturday. Then go see bcap and Datacet at The Press Room! Get your Craft Fix Sunday—Megan Stelzer will be there!
