Pint-sized Plays are starting tonight at the Red Door—see a cool short play for FREE! Today at 10:35am the Veteran’s Day Parade will kick off from the VFW in downtown Portsmouth and head down Islington to Goodwin Park, where a ceremony will take place at 11:00am. USM Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform at PMAC with Taylor O’Donnell (FREE!). See Dr. Strangelove with the Seacoast Film Society at the lovely (newly renovated!) Langdon Library tomorrow (Wednesday) night. 3S presents DANCE OF DEATH—a reading and musical tribute to guitarist James Fahey, Friday at Book and Bar. Help out the Rep and watch what sounds like a totally awesomely bizzarre movie/performance! Woohoo, it’sDorks in Dungeons time again (seriously, these shows are so, so fun)! This Sunday is November’s Seacoast Food Swap—bring some canned veggies and leave with a ham hock (or whatever). The NaNoWriMo halfway point write-in is this Sunday at Portsmouth Public Library.
