The Sound is Portsmouth’s newest newspaper, a weekly publication that will come out every Wednesday starting in mid-November.
They celebrated their launch last week at The Press Room. Jake Mehrmann (of the Tan Vampires), The Connection (who put on a killer punk show) and The Soggy Po Boys played some killer tunes, and everyone who was ANYone was there (apologies to those who weren’t there).
It was an exciting celebration of what will be a much-needed city resource, run by those who can do it best: notorious locals Matt and Chloe Kanner, notorious writer Larry Clow, and the talented Alyssa Grenning.
Keep your eye out for this, folks!
