Ahhh, look at our beautiful city—all lit up and shiny.
Even without the extra holiday lights, the streets and buildings of this city come alive in the rain.
Bricks reflect streetlights and headlights and shop windows. The beam that shines from the Athenaeum building looks amazing in a drizzle or mist. Umbrellas somehow lend a yesteryear quality to the people walking down the road, as if they’re straight out of a Capra movie.
Rain is the weather that Portsmouth wears best.
